Hand or Machine?

Now while this was fun to sit with my sister and cousin and quilt and chat.........

.......a quick lesson by my sister in the art of machine quilting (this is mine not hers - she is far better!)

......a continued obsession with circles.....

......some more excitable attempts and trials at machine quilting....not easy AT ALL!!!!

........and hey presto......finished.....one very random quilted quilt that will be snuggled under while watching MasterChef!!!

Quilting

I do not propose that I am a real quilter - I have nothing but praise for the patient people like my sister who are so good at quilting and putting together such itty bitty pieces of fabric. For me it is about the colours and the fabrics. I take the easy way and use larger strips or squares and therefore it is finished quicker!!! Simple really! Already I have had a go and 'stitching in the ditch' and undone it - it was crap!......I might actually have to develop some patience of my own and this could be a 'hand quilted quilt'......stay tuned!
