30 cent skirt

I picked this piece of fabric up at an op shop for 50 cents - I didn't use all of it and figure I have about 20 cents worth left!! What a bargain skirt - basically a tube with a large piece of blue ribbing at the top. I wanted a skirt to wear with trousers - I have always loved this look and often thought I was too short to pull it off. I haven't grown taller - just older and now think I will wear what I like and not worry about what shape they make me look. Really - I probably look incredibly short given that I choose to wear this skirt with cropped pants'!!! but hey - I am 40 now so don't care!
